What is the Penny Saver Program?
The Penny Saver Program rounds-up your everyday debit card transactions to the next dollar and transfers the difference to your main savings account at Washington Area FCU.
How much does the program cost?
Penny Saver is free! This program simply provides the opportunity to build up your savings account!
Does it work for ATM Transactions?
No. Penny Saver only works for Point-of-Sale transactions (i.e. groceries, online shopping, etc.).
Will it overdraft my account?
No. Penny Saver will be temporarily disabled if a transaction overdraws your account or if your balance is negative.
What if I have more than one debit card on my account?
Penny Saver will apply to all debit cards associated with your account.
