Sgt. Nathan P Kennedy Memorial Scholarship Fund-- Posted on Friday, May 21 2010A scholarship funds has been established at your credit union to honor the memory of Nathan Kennedy, who was killed in action on April 27, 2010, while serving with the US Army in Afghanistan. Nathan was a combat veteran of the war in Iraq, and had just re-enlisted for another 4 year hitch, when he lost his life in service to his country. Sgt. Kennedy’s family and McGuffey High School, where he graduated in 2004, have established the fund for the benefit of other students’ higher educational expenses.
