WAFCU strongly believes in investing in our community. If you are seeking a donation, please submit a sponsorship request letter. All requests will be considered and reviewed on a weekly basis. Discounts for Members
WAFCU is always actively seeking ways to help our members save money. We do this by providing them with perks such as discounted amusement park tickets. Offerings vary by time of year; call for details.
WAFCU has a strong commitment to financial literacy. We conduct classroom presentations for all grade levels, provide teachers with financial education tools, and host field trips (including credit union tours) for students. Every year, WAFCU provides scholarships to local high school students who are pursuing higher education. Applicants must be graduating from a school in our field of membership and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Scholarships are awarded to students who display academic achievement, exemplary character and leadership, and provide service to the community.
We have 53 WAFCU Scholarship applications turned in for the 2017 year! Thank you to all the school districts for their help in making this possible!
