Checking Accounts
Checking accounts at the Washington Area Credit Union are designed with you, our members, in mind.
By not packaging our checking services, you can choose the features you want and not have to deal with the stuff you don’t need.
We offer the following options on checking accounts:
- No minimum balance requirement
- No monthly maintenance fee
- No limits on check or electronic transactions
- No surcharge for using ATM's located throughout the country. With the worldwide acceptance of our debit card, there are no restrictions on where your WATFCU account can take you.
- Home Banking Services allows you to keep track of your accounts from the comfort of your home or office 24/7. Link any family member's accounts to yours to manage your family's finances
- Overdraft Privileges are offered to qualified members to prevent embarrassment of an occasional overdraft. Overdraft Privileges (ODP) is available up to $750.
